Changing your Facebook password can help prevent people from breaking into your account and stealing information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have two options to reset your password on Facebook if you think it\u2019s time to change it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are needing to recover your Facebook password, instructions to do so are also listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-change-facebook-password-while-logged-in\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Change_Facebook_password_while_logged_in\"><\/span>Change Facebook password while logged in<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are already inside your Facebook profile and realize that you need to change the password, this is what you have to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\ufe0f Go to &#8216;<strong>Settings and Privacy&#8217;: <\/strong>click on the upper right tab that you find on the Facebook home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\ufe0f Click on<strong> \u2018Settings\u2019 <\/strong>and \u2018<strong>Security and Login<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\ufe0f Scroll to <strong>&#8216;Login<\/strong>&#8216; and go to <strong>&#8216;Change password&#8217;.<\/strong> Click on Edit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25b6\ufe0f You will see a new window that prompts you to write your current password and then two empty text boxes to add the new password and re-type it to confirm the change.
