Brands can use this information to publish content at the audience\u2019s peak times to boost engagement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After analyzing over <strong>47,000 YouTube accounts and 636,874 videos in our <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metricool.com\/short-form-video-study\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>2024 Short-Form Video Study<\/strong><\/a>, our team found major insights into the best time to post on YouTube, for both <a href=\"https:\/\/metricool.com\/youtube-shorts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shorts<\/a> and long-form content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So, what did our results find?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The best time to <strong>post long-form video is at 9 pm<\/strong>, averaging 2,499.13 views per video.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For YouTube Shorts, the <strong>best time to upload a short is at 1 am<\/strong>, when the data saw the highest number of views, averaging 3,184 views per short.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>However, our data also shows an <strong>increase in average views at 9 am<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This data suggests that there are <strong>two types of YouTubers: morning watchers, and night owls.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While these are data averages, you can apply these patterns and adapt them to align with your audience.
